もう一度おさらい.

I'm sorry to hear that you won't join us. Anyway, I understand your situation.

In fact, there are little students who study MIF, and so I don't care if you have basic knowledge of this field or not.
Because we are going to try brand new approach people have never tried, I believe that there is no one who have a background of our research.
Thus, a person whom I would like to cowork with is highly motivated, and who can enjoy the research.
If you know such kind of person, please let me know.

In addition, don't try to distore your own research background to MIF study.
You should be straightforward for solving fundamental problems in your research field.
Such experiences will help you to get approprate data when you are facing to new problems (though it was new research field for you)

In brief, it is important to study hard and think of many ideas. Technical advantage is not necessary, because if you are swayed too much by technical advantage, you will miss the essence of research.

Well, then, I'm wishing your good luck in Taiwan.
